Liu Yao is a traditional Chinese method of divination associated with the I Ching. Three coins are tossed six times to form a hexagram. Its six lines, changing lines, and casting time are used to build a detailed chart for traditional interpretation.
What do I get for free?+
You can cast online or enter your own coin tosses, then view your hexagram, changing lines, and full Liu Yao chart. English articles explain the symbols in general terms. The chart and articles do not provide a personalized answer to your question.
Is AI interpretation available?+
Not yet. Personalized AI reports are in preparation, and the current casting flow does not send your question to an AI model. There is no paid report or personal email reading available to purchase. You can email us to express interest in the AI beta; access and launch dates are not guaranteed.
Do I need coins or prior knowledge?+
No prior knowledge is needed. Follow the online casting steps without physical coins, or use three ordinary coins and record the heads and tails of all six tosses. The first toss forms the bottom line.
What makes a useful question?+
Focus on one situation and your own choices, such as “What should I consider before changing jobs?” Keep personal names and sensitive details out. Neither the chart nor a general hexagram guide can establish facts about another person's private thoughts or future actions.
Is my question private?+
Your question and casting details are included in the chart URL. Anyone with the link can read them, and the URL may appear in browser history or hosting logs. Chart pages ask search engines not to index them, but this is not access protection. Avoid entering confidential information; read the Privacy Policy before sharing a link.
